Five steps from a form link to SPSS
1. Copy the respondent link
Use the shared /viewform link, not the form editing URL. Check that respondents can open it without signing in.
2. Choose a response package
Paste the link into DissLink and select the sample size. The page offers one free five-response trial per account and packages of 100, 200 or 300 responses. For paid options, follow the site's checkout flow and check your panel before paying again if a result appears delayed.
3. Review the spreadsheet
Download Excel or CSV and examine column names, missing values, response categories and question types. Decide how to code open-ended answers before statistical analysis.
4. Download the SPSS ZIP
The package includes Responses.xlsx, Codebook.xlsx, Responses.sav, Analysis.sps and Variable_Dictionary.xlsx. The .sav file opens in SPSS; the .sps file provides initial frequency and descriptive commands. Compare the codebook and variable labels with the original form.
5. Match analysis to your research question
Descriptive output is a starting point. Reliability, correlations, comparisons or regression require suitable variables, assumptions and an explicit methodology. Prepared syntax does not amount to a complete analysis or interpretation.
Research integrity
The generated responses are synthetic sample data for testing a workflow. They must not be presented as responses from real participants. Collect real observations where the dissertation or article requires empirical evidence, and disclose the data source in the methods section. The generator says results remain in the student panel for 30 days.
